Several months ago I purchased my first smartphone, the HTC MyTouch 4G from T-Mobile. I must admit, I really love this phone a lot. I was kind of scared about ordering it because for so many years I’ve been using a full QWERTY keyboard, and the MyTouch 4G does not have a QWERTY keyboard. It’s all virtual. But I quickly learned Swype and I was good to go.
However, there was one issue I was having that was extremely weird and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what was going on. It was the fact that if I turned the WiFi connection on on my phone, then I would lose net connection to all PC’s. Though “all” only consists of two PC’s. There was mine that was running Windows Vista and my dads PC which was/is running Windows 7.

Twenty Ways To Easily Break Linux

Linux has a reputation for robustness but there are still plenty of ways to damage a perfectly working system.
Here we share some of the ways you can trash Linux.
01. Fill a filesystem
If the filesystem containing /var fills up, nothing can write its log messages and all sorts of system processes may stall. This can be caused by a runaway process spamming /var/log or, if everything is on the same filesystem, it could be all the downloads in your home directory.
02. Reinstall Windows
No, this isn’t a typical Linux user’s anti-Microsoft jibe – the Windows installer doesn’t allow for foreign operating systems or bootloaders, so if you reinstall Windows it will overwrite your bootloader. There’s no need to reinstall Linux, though: the installer CD usually has an option to fix the bootloader, or you can run grub-install from a live CD.
